Oscar De la Hoya said he thought Floyd Mayweather was a chicken, for not accepting to fight him in a rematch, and not accepting fights against other top fighters like Sugar Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto, but at the same time Oscar de la hoya refused to fight a top fighter like Antonio Margarito and turn his attention to manny pacman pacquiao.

I know Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter, but the guy has already went up 2 weight classes and now wants to jump to 147 pound fight. The guy started around 110 pounds and his last fight was in 135 lightweight. Most of the fights in his career have been in 130 pounds super featherweight. To go to 147 it alot of weight, Many fighters have fell to have success in bigger weights. Like Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton, Tito Trinidad, even Miguel cotto from his last fight. Oscar de la hoya admitted that fighting a guy like Bernard hopkings gave him a disadvantage in weight.

So here the buz, Now de la Hoya wants to fights a wrestler that comes from the flyweight. He says he wants to get revenge for other mexican fighter who had lost to Manny "Pacman" Pacquio. Thats Bullsht,he also wanted to fight Ricky Hatton another small boxer. It's all about the money and mostly not getting hurt, because a fight with Antonio margarito would have been a real showdown. I would have let him lots of money also. Does he believe mexican care for him as much as Antonio Margarito. No way.

Mexican would still be greatful if he beats Manny pacquio a fighter who has defeated about some major top mexivcan, like Erik Morales,Juan Manuel Marquez
Marco Antonio Barreras and David Diaz.

But if Oscar De La Hoya fights Antonio Margarito, the tide will change and mexican fans will be rooting for Antonio Margarito. Oscar De Lahoya should at his back before he points finger at other wrestlers for being cowards.

Than he just might notice he has wings, not like angels, but like the once people are used to eating. chicken Wings. I guess if Manny Pacquiao wins thats what he'll be getting for desert, after all boxing matches always come after dark.

Oscar De La Hoya ruined boxing for me.

In his prime, he was a legitimate legend. Then I watched him win 3 fights in a row...all by decisions, which 2 of them should have been De La Losses.

After seeing that, and the unravelling of Roy Jones, I went MMA and never looked back.
