Terrell Owens finally starting to show his true colors
So, after losing to Washington yesterday, T.O. complained about not being targeted enough.
Dallas ran 58 offensive plays. He was targeted 18 times on passing plays and ran the ball twice. Over 1/3rd of Dallas' offensive plays were intended for Owens.
Maybe he hasn't matured like we all thought, huh?

Re: Terrell Owens finally starting to show his true colors
I said I would never post in the sports section again, but seeing as nobody has yet answered this thread.. I mean, I am the residential Pro-T.O. poster.. I kind of have to be here right? lol.. so with that..
I say, lets wait and see. I think it's a bit premature. If it was another guy we'd probably say, "well.. he was frustrated.. it was right after the game.."
But in Owens' case, he's not another guy.. he's Owens, the same guy that's rip a lot of his teammates before..
but I'll point to a couple things. 1. He appears to love Tony Romo and you can see that on their HBO special from training camp.. and 2. He's been hustling all year.. I mean, Owens ran down the field and stopped a defender from scoring the other game and in the same game where he only caught a couple passes, he was laying out defenders on blocks..
So I dunno. I think we take the wait and see approach because he's been great in Dallas up to this point. I don't think he should be stomped into the ground for every little outburst.
Re: Terrell Owens finally starting to show his true colors
After actually seeing the game i believe its because the defences seem to be doing a better job marking and blocking him.
The Packers did it last week and the Skins did it again this week.
However it could be argued that he's not getting into a decent enough posistion for Romo to find him as frequently as the first couple of games.
Romo wants to throw to him but he's having to look for others to throw to as Owens is being so well marked.
