Seriously..someone give me some positive feedback about this lineup because I've never hated a team more than the one I drafted a few hours ago.
In this league, it's points-per-reception, and we start: 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 K, 1 DEF. I had the 8th pick in a 10-person league.
1. Randy Moss
2. Marshawn Lynch
3. Willis McGahee
4. Carson Palmer
5. Roddy White
6. Laurence Maroney
7. Jonathan Stewart
8. Heath Miller
9. Derek Mason
10. Joey Gallaway
11. Reggie Brown
12. Chris Brown
13. Bobby Engram
14. Dallas DEF
15. David Akers
In all the studying I did, I somehow completely overlooked the note saying that McGahee was rehabbing from surgery. How bad is it? Should I be worried? Someone mentioned it halfway through the draft, after Ray Rice was picked up so I couldn't pick him up.
I'm just not liking this team at all..fuck..thank god it was only a $25 league.
I dont see how its that bad outside of Chris Brown and Reggie Brown(if Chris Johnson is on waivers, Id suggest picking him up or any back really)
McGahee I doubt will lose that many carries to Ray Rice this year, and even with his knee being rehabed, he should be ready for the season opener. Maroney should get a increased role in the Patriots offense that apparently is looking to run more with him and Sammy Morris, Jonathan Stewart is also a sure bet for stealing Goal line carries from DeAngelo Williams.
The WR/QB situation looks good to me as well for the most part

I think Palmer might let you down because he has no one to throw to who is fit and wants to be a Bengal.
Aside from that if you start
Palmer
Moss and i'd go for Roddy White
Lynch and Maroney
Heath Miller
Akers
I think you could make a run at it. Like I said depends on if anyone helps Carson out this year.

Did I miss something with TJ Whosyourmama?

wait are you saying Magic Johnson is black, has AIDS and has it better than ME?
Plus, I'm thinking about picking up Chris Henry by the time week 2 rolls around (before anyone else does, hopefully).
I took a gamble last year taking Brady AND Moss, since nobody knew what type of Randy Moss would show up in New England. That one sure as hell paid off for me. If Henry can keep it together and stay focused on the field, that might add some more firepower for me.
Plus, I do have a flex position of WR/RB to throw an extra guy in depending on the week.
I did a draft last night with guys from work...One guy took 5 RBs with his first 6 picks. We start 2 RBs, no flex spots. So, he took THREE back-up RBs before taking a QB, TE, or his 2nd WR (we start 3 WRs).
I ended up with shitty RBs (Graham, Stewart, Mendenhall, Bradshaw), but the rest of my team is stacked: Palmer at QB, Gates at TE, and my WRs are Braylon Edwards, Reggie Wayne, Jericho Cotchery, Nate Burleson, James Hardy, Jabar Gaffney and Ted Ginn
Oh, I had the 12th out of 12 picks. Like I mentioned when talking about my team before, I'll just try to pick up RBs on the waiver wire, or hope Mendenhall takes Willie Parker's spot
