It didn't look like Ben got the ball to break the line. I'm still upset about the game, even the announcers could tell the refs were making horrible calls.

Even if the Big Ben touchdown had not been counted they still would have had a 4th and inches. They would have scored it anyway.

Park the old car that I love the best
Inspections due and it won't pass the test
Funny how I have to put it to rest
And someday I will join it.

The TD was a good call. It was inconclusive. I dont know what u guys are talking about. I remember maybe just one call they made that was actually wrong.

the phantom hold was a horrible call. If the refs wouldn't have made that, the Hawks would have had 1st and goal and gone up 17-14 most likely. Different game then. Other than that, the Hasselbeck call was BS, he was not going after a blocker he was trying to tackle the guy with the ball, and also.. the Offensive PI on Jackson was very suspect but he did reach out his hand so I can't really say it was a "bad" call.

No excuses though, Hawks played awful and will be kicking themselves for months. Holmgren was terrible.

oh, i totally forgot that "block below the knees" call on Hasselbeck. That was probably THE worst call of the game.

The offensive pass interference call was pretty bad, but there was some contact, and Jackson did make a push-off motion before breaking back inside for the ball, and in the heat of the moment, I can see the ref making that call. Was it correct? Probably not, but people make mistakes.

That block below the knees penalty was ridiculously bad.

I know i'm British but I agree with the offensive PI in the end zone because the ref didn't even pull his flag until Chris Hope started gettingin the refs grill and then he hesitated before pulling the flag.

The block call on Hasselbeck was just dumb.

The hold on the 1st and goal was bullshit. If Madden says there was no holding then there was no holding. Dreadful call. Surely the fact that the guy who was being 'blocked' nearly sacked Hasselbeck before the throw might have given away the fact the call was bogus.

But the worst call was the TD by Big Ben. Look at the line ref when he comes onto the field. Hes going to spot the ball, sees Ben whose now moved his big ass into the end zone, then calls the TD. Then they don't reverse the call which I understand but the call was shit.

People say the Hawks played poor, but I disagree when you compare it with the Steelers. The Steelers simply made two good plays, the 75 yard TD run by Parker and the Randel El to Ward TD to finish up. Take those two plays out and the Steelers sucked badly.

The refs turned this game for me which is a shame because I was looking forward to it. I don;t know if the holding calls led to this but why did the Steelers not blitz like they did vs Indy and Denver?

Ben was on Letterman the other night and basically admitted he never got in for the TD on that play.

He agreed the call was wrong.

Then he let Letterman shave his beard, which was oddly gay.
