This is a discussion on Super Bowl? Eh, whatever... within the North American Sports forums, part of the Sports Forums category; is it just me, or does this seem like one of the least hyped up Super Bowls in recent memory?

is it just me, or does this seem like one of the least hyped up Super Bowls in recent memory?
This past weekend I heard a lot more about Tiger Woods winning the Buick Open and Roger Federer winning the Australian Open than I did about the Super Bowl
The Super bowl is FIVE days away!!! And barely anyone is talking about it. Is this a good thing? A bad thing?
By the way, I'm sure the quality of the game will be great. These are two talented, well-coached teams, who are usually well-prepared and efficient.
As long as we're on the subject, what are you guys doing for the game?
Well, I do agree that the game should be good. I think it'll be close for the most part and that'll help the fact that nobody cares about Seattle.
I was invited to a super bowl party but it's out past Hartford and I'm not sure I want to go out that far, I got an early class the next morning..
So, I think me and a couple buddies will probably hit up one of the casinos or something. Get something to eat, gamble a little, watch the game, drink some brews, etc.
I can't really answer the question because I happen to be in Pittsburgh right now, and people won't talk about anything but the Superbowl, so to me this feels like the most hyped Superbowl in recent memory.
Other than in Pittsburgh(and maybe Seattle) this Super Bowl is barely being hyped at all. I'm not too excited myself after Denver was eliminated.
I will be having a small party though. It's nothing big, just some pizza and soda and stuff like that.
