I know everyone already heard it, and now I'm speaking about it. On ESPNEWS & some other sports news shows are saying that Brett Favre might be returning to the NFL for his 18th season. I say the sources who says this are false. The day Favre says that he's retiring and in tears, he means it. He's done all he could in the NFL and there's nothing left for him to accomplish. I dunno what's with the sources, but it's bullshit and someone wants their paycheck for reporting false news. I want to know what you all think of this?

I don't think it's false reporting. I'd say Favre when asked for the hundredth time if he was ever coming back said something along the lines of "never say never" and the reporters blew it the fuck up.
If he did return, it'd be a shame. Aaron Rodgers should be the quarterback of this team. He's waited patiently for 4 years on the sidelines, has been gearing up all winter/spring for this moment, it'd be horrible if the rug was pulled out from under him and furthermore, the Packers have to move on.

I agree with you Blitz, The Packers should move on. He played for 17 season and if the fans want him that badly, won't they go to where he lives, drag his ass out of his house, and demand him to play again, that's never gonna happen. Aaron Rodgers should get a shot at glory like Favre did in Super Bowl XXXI, it's his time now.

I feel so bad for Aaron Rodgers. Guy just can't catch a break. I love Favre, but the man needs to grow up and stop being so damn indecisive. Hopefully the poster above is correct in saying that the reporter blew it up, but reports like these have been coming out since weeks after the SB.

I think that if Bret wanna come back he can come back. I mean he loves the game deeply and we cannot judge him for wanting to come back and playing for the love of the game. And Green Bay should not say no to him coming back cause Bret got them back on the map in the 90s and made them a elite team year in and year out instead of a laughing stock like what they were before he came their.
