Should I really be impressed though?.. I mean, watching the highlights I was like "Holy Fuck!" but now that I think about it some more, the man took 46 shots! I dunno, I guess it's impressive but I would have been more impressed if he added like 15 assists to go with it.

He had two assists...

Most importantly though, his team won the game. If they had lost, it would have all been for naught.

The thing is, if he had 15 assists, then he would have accounted 111 points by himself (at least...add a few points for assists on 3s). That's pretty much impossible.

also, he was 28-46 from the floor, so he was shooting 60% from the field...no reason to stop shooting if you're that hot

You don't get the feeling like he's doing it for another reason other than trying to make the team win?

I dunno.. The team is a collection of bums so I guess I can't complain too much on how many shots he's taking. I could also say that the team was losing big at the half and then he scored 55 in the 2nd half and the team won..

I dunno.. I am impressed just not sure how impressed I should be. If the team keeps winning then you can't complain.

Well, this whole "what are his motives?" question is pretty complex. I mean, I'm sure he's doing it all in his best interests. But I definitely think that he thinks that what's good for Kobe is good for the Lakers. As in "Every shot I take makes the team better, and every shot I pass up makes the team worse"

If he keeps shooting 60% from the field, of course that would be true. Unfortunately, that's not always going to happen
