So.. I'm watching the Sox/Yanks right now and Joe Morgan said there's a rumor going around that Barry Bonds may have worked out recently for the Red Sox.
I think it'd be a great move if Ortiz can't come back. He fits in perfectly. Yeah, there's the distraction deal.. but I think if any clubhouse can defuse a situation like that..it'd be Terry Francona and co.
But.. would Red Sox nation embrace him? I know my friends wouldn't care as long as he helped the team. thing is.. you can sign him and always release him later on.
