Hockey player Luc Bourdon was killed Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle struck a tractor-trailer in northern New Brunswick, Canada.

Bourdon played for the Vancouver Canucks and was the first round draft pick for the team.

He was only 21-years old.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I've been camping all week and this is the first news I come home to.

I'm in absolute shock. As some of you know, I'm a huge Canucks fan, and Bourdon was one of our very brightest prospects. On top of that, he seemed like a hilarious, charitable, good-natured person.

That is really sad news.. When I heard about it, the first thing that popped into my head was "fucking motorcycles" .. I'd never buy one, man.
