When's this guy gonna start? The other managers in my fantasy league are playing chicken on him one day at a time, waiting to pick him up, and I don't wanna miss out. Tom?
He's not going to start this year unless they send him down the minors for a month and a half, which they can't afford to do. He can't just jump into the rotation. I don't see him starting at all. The Yanks will start to win enough games and dismiss these rumors.
You can blame Hank "The Most Idiotic Man in Sports" Steinbrenner.
What other owner would openly question the manager AND the general manager at the same time? haha. He is going to make George seem like a very patient quiet man..

Yeah, I suspect that Joba will stay in the 'pen all year, unless neither Hughes nor Kennedy can work out their problems, and starting pitching becomes a dire need.

Joba is an eighth inning guy who sets up for the time being. He most likely wont start unless Hughes goes down to the minors in like July or August and there are injury issues. Joba will remain in the bullpen.
