NFL Draft 2008 - Discussion Thread
As we know, Jake Long, Tackle, Michigan signed with the Miami Dolphins the other day to lock up his position as the #1 pick in the draft.

All eyes are on the Rams with the second pick and it looks like it's going to be Chris Long, Defensive End, Virginia. Makes sense to me.

What channel should I tune into? ESPN or NFL Network?

I'm hoping..no, PRAYING...that McFadden is there for the Jets at #6 and they pass on him. The reaction from the crowd would be priceless.

One of my friends works downtown in the World Financial Center, and they had a meet-and-greet type thing with the players yesterday. The two longs, McFadden, Gholston, Dorsey, and Matt Ryan were there. Obviously, there were a lot of Jets fans, and they were all going crazy for McFadden. My friend said McFadden even said he hopes he goes to the Jets and how he wants to play in New York so badly.

It would be SO awesome if the Jets don't pick him hahaha

In Canada, we aren't even getting ESPN's coverage -- usually TSN picks it up, but they're playing hockey today instead.

That said, I've been planning on going with NFLN all along. They do a better job of keeping up with the actual draft, and not wasting awful amounts of time discussing and re-discussing the Top 5 picks.

Well, Falcons took Ryan. I think he'll be at least solid.. So what do the Raiders do? Dorsey or McFadden? I'm going to guess Al Davis fawns over the back.

Morning. Skipped the wedding. Cincinnati's just gotten screwed twice. They wanted either Sedrick Ellis or Derrick Harvey. Now they're both gone. I just didn't think the Jaguars would move that far up.

No surprise the Pats traded picks. I thought Kansas City would've done that as they could've gotten more value.
