The biggest shocker to me is how, in the GM's opinions, there was virtually no difference between any of the receivers. We had guys like Dexter Jackson and Jerome Simpson being drafted next to Limas Sweed and Malcolm Kelly and so on..

It'll be interesting to see who becomes the busts/playmakers out of this group.

I tell you what, I didn't think much of Jerome when they drafted him but after watching some videos of the guy, he looks like he could be a big playmaker in the NFL.

The Irony of Dexter Jackson being drafted after someone from Michigan is worthy of a mention to.

Please note that both Jackson and Simpson were speed prospects as opposed to possession guys such as Kelly and Sweed.

The surprise was them going before DeSean. Another speed prospect.

I'm a very satisfied Packers fan today. Every single need was met in some way, and with their first pick they strengthened their best offensive unit with a guy (Jordy Nelson) who I absolutely love.
