I actually have no problem with the Red Sox hitting Yankee batters...if they want to keep putting runners on base for us, I'll take it. In fact, I dont even want the Yankees to retaliate. I dont want them putting runners on for a dangerous offense, just over some macho retaliation bullshit

Wow, the red sox won two world series and clearly won the beanball war with new york. I guess thats what you call winning the battle and the war. LOL at Yankee pitchers for missing their mark!! I feel for you slim!!!
I agree with the beanball wars being stupid, but I think the suspensions are all based on game situations and where the beanball was thrown. I don't recall Jeter getting any chin music, but when the ball gets up around the head you've taken it to another level IMO, and if I'm correct the two suspensions came after they threw at Yuk's head twice and Manny's once.
To be fair, Jeter is basically on top of the plate and A-Rod is just a fag that deserves to get hit.
Pedro used to seem to go out of his way to hit Jeter though....
Beanballing has actually gone down ALOT over the past 20 years.
