Re: Official NHL Playoffs Thread

Well, the Garden was rockin' in game 6. It was the loudest I've seen that arena in some time. I'd love to see the Bruins win game 7 and get those Canadiens out of the Pens' way.

He wrestles once every 6 months, and it doesn't matter if you're the biggest name in active competition today, he's not going to lose to you. There was suppose to be a Hogan/Michaels 2, and Hogan was supposed to lose. All of a sudden his knee starting "bugging" him.

No kidding.

Watching Game 3 in Boston, I couldn't believe how loud the booing was for Chara (the Bruins' MVP).

Re: Official NHL Playoffs Thread

Yeah, that's not true at all guys. You must not have seen the game. Everyone was wearing Bruins jerseys and waving white towels. I didn't watch game 3.

Re: Official NHL Playoffs Thread

To be honest, I watched Game 6 in a bar, so without sound, but both Games 3 and 4 were attended by massive amounts of Habs fans -- the booing for Chara was unbelievable. I just assumed it was the same on Saturday.

Either way, 3-0 after the second, it looks like the B's are done.

Re: Official NHL Playoffs Thread

Well, here in northeastern Connecticut, everyone got into the NHL for one night only. Now everyone can watch the Celtics in peace.

Thank God I've liked the Penguins since I was seven.

Re: Official NHL Playoffs Thread

I work 5 minutes away from the Garden and TRUST me, there were a ton of Canadians fans. It was almost embarassing seeing them all over the area. Traditionally in Boston you rarely see opponents fans because even people in Boston have an impossible time getting tickets to anything without spending hundreds of dollars. So you basically need close to 1000 bucks to travel into the city from another state with tickets and hotel plus travel if you plan on not going alone.

Every single one of them had a jersey or cape or facepaint......and it was 4 hours before gametime.

Most hardcore Bruins fans gave them 3rd, 4th and 10th chances to improve. Constant rebuilding and half assing trying to go for a cup (THEY TRADED RAY BOURQUE SO HE COULD.........WIN?!?!?). That was the final straw for me really. When they said...."You know Ray, we are right on the verge of winning you your first title in 23 years as a professional playing for just us.....but we think its best you go with an actual contender....because we love you Ray"

Fuuuuuuck that.

And fuck you too Ulf Samuelson.
