So, one of my fantasy baseball leagues is a 16-team, 24-player behemoth where the free agent pool is paper-thin. I'm one of the few people in my league who reads up on minor league prospects, so I was able to snatch up a bunch of prized hitting prospects (Evan Longoria, Jay Bruce, etc), and then after the draft, which was five weeks ago, I turned my attention to a certain pitching prospect. Here is the message I posted on my league's message board:

Subject: MOTHERFUCKER COCKSUCKER PIECE OF SHIT YAHOO

Every day for the last three fucking weeks I've checked the player list to see if they had added Johnny Cueto, and for some reason Yahoo added him AFTER the season already started, despite the fact that there was basically no question that he was going to start the year in the Reds' rotation. It's been known for weeks that he was going to start the year in the majors, and yet for some fucking reason Yahoo refused to add him to their player list until Wednesday. No offense Mike, but I would guess that you had never heard of Cueto until this week, and I'd also guess that at most 3 or 4 other people in the league knew how nasty he is before the season started.

So, in conclusion, I would just like to say FUCK YOU YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't heard of him until he pitched, but I knew about Longoria and Bruce. I just don't expect to see much from either of them this year.. and there's no room for them on my fantasy teams anyway.. You know, the type where guys who should be starting are your utility man? I'd rather be in your league lol..

Same thing happened to me in my dynasty league. When the season opened, I used my waiver priority to claim Rafael Soriano, still hoping I might catch Cueto under the radar when he became available -- but then he threw that gem and the guy at #1 got him.

I did pick him up in the Monks league though.
