| I can't believe nobody has made this thread yet.. Come on guys! Who you got in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs? Am I the only one really excited right now? In the AFC, I have the Pats over the Jags and the Steelers over the Bengals. I like this Jags team. I like their toughness, but this isn't a game that they or anyone else wanted to be in. The Pats at home are going to be about as tough an out you'll see in the playoffs this year. Brady will be huge! Steelers.. Well, again I like the experience. The Bengals are fun to watch, they've put up a ton of points on the Steelers before, but this is a whole different animal. I'll be back to talk some NFC.. | |||||||||||||||

| Giants have a tough match-up against the Panthers. They're probably the last team I want the Giants to face. Also, it looks like Antonio Pierce won't be back anytime soon, which really hurts the defense. His fill-ins have done an admirable job, but he was having a Pro-Bowl caliber year before getting hurt. | |||||||||||||||

| Pick for what? the Superbowl or just this week? Out of those three teams I'd say the Pats hve the best chance of winning their game and the Pats hve the best chance of going all the way based on nothing else other than they are the fricken Pats! | |||||||||||||||

| I love NYC so much that I'm thinking I'm going to have to pick them. Plus since I go there a couple of times a year maybe I've a chance of seeing them too (one day) | |||||||||||||||

| I think the Giants have a great chance of winning this game. Of course, they also have a great chance of losing this game. I tell you what, if the Giants let Steve Smith beat them it's a travesty. There's no way he should be left covered one-on-one by any corner or safety on the team. | |||||||||||||||

Let's hug it out bitch.
| Seriously....................I just typed out a long ass thing that I had been doing over the past hour here and there, then my 1 year old walks by and hits the power button on my pc just as I was about to send it. I fucking hate that. lol Now, here are my picks for this week in much less detail..... New England beat Jax by AT LEAST 10 points. Dont bet against Brady, he has yet to lose in the playoffs. I see Cincy/Pitt being a great game. It appears that everyone is expecting Cincy to just be happy they made the playoffs and rollover for the Steelers. I just dont see it playing out that way. Cincy wins a real close high scoring game. Giants vs. Carolina should be another really good game. Both teams have recently been to the Superbowl so they should have enough experience to get them deep, too bad only one of these teams will make it out of this week. Its gonna be very close but I will go with the G-Men. I also see Chris Simms turning more and more into his dad as time goes on. Rarely makes a huge play, but never makes a huge mistake either. He is about as even steven as they come. The Running game and Defense get Tampa past Washington. Gibbs looks like a confused old man out there. | |

| Well, the Giants left Santana Moss single-covered all game, and he lit them up for 3 TDs. The defense really needs to step up. Strahan and Osi really need to get to Delhomme, and hopefully whatever combination of LBs are on the field can help stop DeShaun Foster. The game of the week, in my opinion, is Cincinnati vs. Pittsburgh. This should be a great game. They split their two games this year, with the road team winning each. After Cincy beat the Steelers, everyone was saying how the Bengals arrived and they were for real. Well, a playoff win would go a long way towards proving that. It's on right after the Giants game...I think those are the two better match-ups of Wiuld Card Weekend. The Saturday games (NE-Jax, TB-Wash) dont appeal to me as much. | |||||||||||||||
