If Ramirez filed for free agency that pretty much ends the A-rod trade. I'm rather surprised to see the number of quality veteran pitchers availeable via free agency. Some team like the Sox could go and pick up Maddux or Pettite and become a contender again. There's not a lot of huge bats out there but there's quality veteran pitching, which the lack of could be contributed to alot of teams failures last year.

I want the Cubs to pick up Zito or Schmidt. And hopefully sign Aramis Ramirez back. I just want them to buy one championship. I wouldn't even care as long as they won a World Series in my lifetime.
