Another Bullshit punishment by the NBA, watch the replay of it, Chris Paul hits Bowen right in the sack then elbows him in the knee while getting up and then completely flops on the kick. Props to Chris Paul for being a good actor but punish them both, or let it go.

The "punch to the balls" was when he was trying to gain control of the ball. It's not his fault that bowen's nuts are right where the ball is.

Maybe Bowen got suspended for the previous dozen or so times where he acted like the biggest douche bag ever.

Go watch previous Bowen film of him kicking people non stop.

I'm far from his biggest fan (if you read the threads I made during the finals last year I blasted him non stop for trying to injure people and refs not caring about him fouling James obvious behind the 3 point line when his FTs could have tied the game.) but He doesnt even kick Paul in the video, he tries to move his leg once and Paul doesn't move, he moves it again and Paul sells it like he was about to get a face full of shin. Really not a good suspension by the NBA, even if it is Bruce fucking Bowen if there suspended for a "possiblity" of a kick, they should probably suspended for elbows that result in a flop because the danger of a elbow was possible.

If you have a shaky past in the league it seems like the NBA doesn't give you much slack. In this case his past probably contributed to the suspension. Honestly with what I've seen of Bowen I really think his past actions should have gotten him banned from the league, or at least a year out of the league. He's tried to injure guys on the court. There's no defending that.

Hmmm... so I hate any picture. Pictures never show circumstance. The videos are nice and all and some of them obviously blatant but doesn't seem like he truly has an intent to injure. To get the ball and to stop people yes. Is he dirty? Yes. But alot of the things that are shown are a result of playing like he does. He goes hard the entire game. I've seen older NBA stuff and numerous upon numerous guys are doing things like him. Cheap shots are a part of the NBA first of all. Just like fights in Hockey.

I'd like to point out that calling that a "kick" is beyond laughable. And that Chris Paul was going for the wrong ball.

In a perfect world after the second flying kick to the face he would have been banned, I still can't stand watching Bowen trying to step under peoples shots to hurt there ankles which a bigger more common problem then what he did or didn't do to Paul.

Like I said, it's hard to have sympathy for this guy. If he wants to take cheap shots at people, then I fully expect the same to happen to him and it doesn't bother me.. Retaliation is a part of sports as well.

Oh I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. He is a dirty player. But as far as giving Chris Paul the "he was going for the ball" treatment. I think he was grabbing at the wrong ball. In no way am I attempting to defend Bruce Bowen's prior actions. Although I'd take him on my team. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't.
