The San Antonio Spurs have acquired Kurt Thomas from the Seattle SuperSonics in exchange for Brent Barry, Francisco Elson and a 2009 first round choice, according to sources.
It was just reported during the Raptors/Magic game, interesting move...I guess its to try and defend Shaq/Gasol/Bynum now that there on rivals.

Yeah exactly.. interior defense is going to be a big issue out west. It's funny how people aren;t giving the Nuggets enough credit. They say, "sure Iverson and Melo are unstoppable, but they don't play defense.."
Umm.. have they watched Camby and Martin? They can most certainly defend.
