| NFL: Monday Night Football Discucssion. I have to say, the starters aren't looking that good, and I'm even more astonished by Brooks' output, because traditionally, the numbers are there, it's just the decisions are really bad sometimes. There's nothing there so far. Even if it is preseason, there's no need for the second stringer to come in and minus the INTs look so much better. If this keeps up...Walter might be ready sooner than two years...it might be week 7 or 8. Maybe he'll look for MOSS. Jesus. Johnnie Morant is going to make the team if he plays like that next week. Hundred yard game, 67 yard TD catch, not bad at all. The O-Line, I'm not really worried about at this point...they'll get it together, that's what these games are for outside the whole spots left on the team thing. And I know it's preseason, and I know the games don't count, blah blah, other shit, blah blah blah, but my Raiders are 2-0. Leave it alone, I might not say that again for at least 2-3 years. 2 in a row hasn't happened for a while. Also, how about that Cutler, eh? Not bad at all, I'm excited to see when he'll move up. Shit, by the end of the season, 3 of the 4 teams in the AFC West may have new QBs at the helm (Rivers, Walter, Cutler), that's exciting to me. Thoughts? | ||||||||||||||

| I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but the Raiders are the weakest team in the toughest division in all the NFL or maybe all sports. The Chargers, CHiefs, and especially the Broncos are going to run all over them. I'm a huge Denver fan as well, but I really do see Cutler moving up. he put up impressive #'s for any QB... not to mention in his first pro-game, as well as not playing but little more than half of the game, but keep in mind PLummer drove 60 yards and if Bell wouldn't have fumbled, most likely would have scored. the Broncs are in good hands not to metnion the #1 DB line up in the league. | |||||||||||||||
