You can read the whole story on espn. Now, I don't want to speculate too much about this as we don't have any strong evidence yet and we may not ever. Former Pats' video assistant Matt Walsh is said to possess tapes that could be "damaging to the league and Patriots" but we don't know what could be on those tapes and/or if it has anything to do with this story.

Basically, between all this and the spygate incident earlier in the year, I don't think Belichick is looking as much the mad scientist as we may have believed. Looking back on that Rams' Super Bowl, I remember Pat defenders jumping routes all over the place. Well prepared? maybe Cheating? possibly.

Again, I don't want to take anything away from the Pats or their success just yet, but it's not looking great..

In all seriousness, this is looking awful right now.. Just look at espn. They have a Super Bowl preview on one side and on the other this "scandal". How can anyon take the Super Bowl seriously when we're being bombarded with these stories of spygate left and right.

Contrary to my avatar/sig, this whole thing isn't really all that funny. I love the NFL more than any sport and I was more than willing to place the Pats in the same company as the Steelers, Packers, Cowboys, and Niners.

MLB has Steroids, NBA had that ref problem thats screwed up everything in the off season, Now NFL has this

I am not saying that it didnt happen, but to use unamed sources and some shithead from 2002 that was an assistant to the schmoe that was fired back then are now pulling this crap out the weekend before the Superbowl.

Its basically pathetic.

This is a league wide issue, not a Patriot issue. (as most of you have already said)

Its as much as a Patriot issues as it is a Leauge issue if all this is true though, I can't even begin to think of what kind of punishment this would mean for the staff of the Patriots and Goddell/Tagliabu if true.
