Regarding the 14-year old girl who got booed at the RCA Dome for wearing a Patriots jersey on the field, Patriots Blog "Patriots' Pulpit" wrote:
Only utter dolts could be so dumb not to separate a high school freshman from a team they don't like simply because that team is far better than theirs. Grant told reporters that people at the stadium told her, "It's not you. It's your jersey." Wow, that's some justification. They were booing the jersey. It's hard to believe any so-called adult could be that irrational. The display was far worse than Eagles fans booing Santa Claus. Worse than Jets fans cheering the injury of their own quarterback. The act is beyond comprehension, beyond words. It was by far the most classless act by the most classless fans imaginable.
I guarantee you that if my 14-year old female cousin wore a yankees jersey in Fenway or a Jets jersey in Gilette, or a Peyton Manning jersey in Gilette, she would get booed just as much, if not more. A girl I know who now lives in Boston told me she once saw a grown man pour a beer on the head of a 10-year old kid for wearing a Yankees hat at Fenway.
So, please Boston, spare me the fucking lecture on class.

hahahaha yea right.
I really thought this would be a non issue.. Its sports and this is what happens in sports, its just all in fun. That guy in the article is overreacting to say the least.

It was and is a complete non-issue. Who fucking cares? It's not like I heard someone hell "go fuck yourself!" although.. who knows, maybe someone did, but this idiot has no idea. Team that is "far better than theirs" hahaha. Excuse me while I laugh some more. Hahaha. The last time the two teams met when the game meant something, the Colts stomped the shit out of the Pats in the 2nd half. Please Boston.. move on... start thinking about San Diego, New York, and Green Bay.
Oh, never mind I take everything back. I found the PERFECT article which shows just how classy the New England fan base is:

They did so by beating the daylights out of four strangers in a darkened lot at Gillette Stadium.
It was late last Saturday night after the seemingly invincible Pats defeated Jacksonville to advance to this weekend’s AFC title game.

“Suddenly, two guys behind us start mouthing off, just being obnoxious. So I turned around and said, ‘C’mon, we just won the game. These are my cousins from Florida. Let’s just have a nice night, OK?’ ”
Then he turned back.
Tanya Watson, 35, Brian’s cousin, decribes what happened next.
“They hit him from behind,” she said. “And when Jeff stepped in, they knocked him to the ground. My husband Chris was walking ahead of us; when he saw what was happening he came running.
“So Chris gets one of these guys in a headlock, trying to pull him away, and while they’re on the ground, someone else kicks him in the head. That’s how he got the black eye and swollen cheek. My husband never got hit by the ones who started it; he got hit by the ones passing by.”
Nw THAT is the way, you exude class. By beating up someone just for being RELATED to fans of another team, a team that's not even your rivals. And it wasnt just a few drunken assholes, as evidenced by the fact that people who were just passing by joined in!!!
Wow, I really hope I can be as classy as those folks some day!

Yeah, she even said in interviews afterwards that she didnt care, and she understood the reaction. It's still pretty cool of Kraft to hook her up.
I heard that the city of Indianapolis also offered to fly her out for the Indy 500 and give her VIP treatment and shit

I think its pretty pathetic that people generalize a whole fan base from a couple of fucking idiots.
Tom, remember how I mentioned to you that at the Giants Patriots game we went to a couple weeks ago? For the rest of you who didnt get a chance to read it.......
Basically my wife and her friends were harrased, and called all sorts of names. I should also mention that these little shits that had comments all day had nothing to say when the girls were with their husbands.
My wifes best friend (who lives in Hoboken, NJ and a huge Sox fan) went to a Sox Yankees game in New York. After the Sox won and they were all leaving the stadium she was shoved a few times and screamed at and harrased simply because she wore a Sox jersey.
So does that mean all fans in New York are scumbags and treat women like shit? No.
There are dickheads and really nice people in all cities. PLEASE for the love of fucking god, show some freaking respect for GOOD sports fans, no matter the city.
