Once again, Boston can't take a joke

Just another situation of stupid fans generalizing one fan with the whole fan base. So what if she's a Patriots fan, the fans bought the tickets and the Girl was fortunatley lucky enough that Robert Kraft saw this and treated her special by flying her and giving her family tickets to the game. Me, personally, I hope the Patriots loose to San Diego but it's pretty hard to see that happening after all of the stupid remarks that San Diego made this past week. Probably Patriots vs. Packers or Giants in the Super Bowl.

I never go to games and shit without at least a few people and I'm not too concerned about my well being. I'll wear a Niners jersey at Giants stadium or Gillette and those pussies aren't going to do shit about it. Nobody wants a fair fight they want to gang up on one guy with his wife or something.. I'm all for a fair fight.

ok ok, I won't generalize a whole fan base based on a few idiots. I obviously know that there are "good fans" and "bad fans" in every fanbase, including my Giants and Yankees.

I just got a little fed up reading about how awful the Indy fans were for booing that girl...I didnt just read it on that one blog I posted, that one was just the most over the top (and also the one that got called out on Deadspin). Plus, most of the people in the comments section of the blog were just as fucking stupid.

Cases in point:

(Tom says: My best friend was in New Orleans when the Patriots won one of their Super Bowls, and he said that after the game there were huge groups of Patriots fans chating "Yankees suck!". I personally witnessed a bunch of Boston peeps chanting "Yankees suck" at a strip club... IN MONTREAL!!!! IN ANOTHER FUCKING COUNTRY!!!! Since 2004 there have been little to no 'Yankees Suck' chants coming out of Boston.

Also, if you spent more than a day in Boston you would come to realize that people were two types of gear in Boston.......Sox hats, or Yankees hats. You don't see people wearing A's hats, or Twins hats, you just dont.

People that wear Yankees hats in Boston generally do it to be "Anti-Sox", not because they like the Yankees.

I really think people outside of Boston give us no credit for our knowledge and respect for sports in general.

Also, if you see Boston fans boo a little girl because she has Yankees shit on......please videotape it and send it to me. Shit, I have been living in this area for 33 YEARS. I have never come across ANY females being harrased by men. Yes, NEVER.

(also for the record, there is NOTHING more obnoxious than a Yankees fan in the middle of the 90's. N***a please)

As I've said everywhere, the only reason this EVEN got any press, is because it's Pats/Colts. There was some competition in 1998, and a girl was at Lambeau in a Warren Moon jersey, and she got booed. Funny, I don't remember hearing jackshit about that. It's a fact of life, it'll happen from the nicest fans to the cruelest fans. By no means are Indy fans the worse, by no means are Pats/Sox fans the worse. The fact of the matter is, shit happens. It was cool of Kraft to do it and whatnot, but what did you expect? I mean seriously, if you expected Colts fans to cheer ANYONE in a Pats Jersey, you should be committed immediately, and seek medical attention.

The same thing happens in Cleveland, if someone were to wear a Pittsburgh jersey. A co-workers, 12 year old son went to the Cleveland/Pittsburgh game and wore a Roethlisberger jersey and there were grown men trying to pick fights with him, people spitting at him. It's ridiculous. Yes, it was a limited few, and the majority of the Browns fans laughed, and stuck up for him, but the fact that there are people out there that act in this manner, is just pathetic.

This shit all about winning. I felt the same way you guys did when the Yankees were beating the Sox down for a decade and a half. So I get it and everything, but its just weird when a city that was known as "lovable losers" ala Chicago is now, is so hated by the hardcore fan outside of this area. It all comes down to winning.

Honestly, if you took all the players out of Pats uniforms and put them in YOUR favorite teams colors and they always played there etc. How would you feel about your team? You would be pretty damn proud.

This is something that comes around once in a lifetime (The big 3 sports being championship winners/contenders) for a long period of time. This will be something you talk to your grandson about when you are smoking a cigar on a porch in 2050, whether you liked Boston teams or not.

I also think most people outside of the Boston area realize just how much we wanted those first Superbowl and World Series titles. It was like a relief was let over the city when the Pats won in 2001 and the icing on the cake when the Sox won. Now its just nice to be on the other end of the broomstick for a chance.

I don't understand why all these fans had to get on there high horse and say that it'd never happen in their city cause it's bullshit. From Fenway to Safeco, from the Metrodome to Texas Stadium, it would've happened.
