Re: Redo the 2004 QB draft

I don't know. Obviously the pressures of New York are felt in every sport, but I would think out of the sports teams in Pittsburgh the Steelers would be far and away the most pressurized situation. The fans love their team to death.

I can't comment on Shaub. From what I've seen he's shown ability but what I've seen isn't enough.

Re: Redo the 2004 QB draft

I was thinking about putting Schaub into the mix in my original post SS, but I thought that in January of 2008, we would have found fourth place for everyone just because he hasn't proven as much as Eli, Rivers, and Big Ben.

In the end, I will have to go with what seems like a popular choice and choose my picks as:

1. Ben
2. Eli
3. Rivers

Even though Eli might not be a locker room leader, and he is on-again, off-again, I think I have more confidence in him longterm than I do Rivers. I've never been a huge fan of Rivers, and since SD is primarily a running team, and save for Gates his receiving core isn't phenominal, it can be argued that we haven't seen Rivers to the best of his ability.

Time will tell.
