Terrell Owens' bottom lip was quivering, his voice wavering.
While his teary eyes were hidden behind dark sunglasses, he couldn't hide his disappointment -- or his loyalty to quarterback Tony Romo -- after the Cowboys' 21-17 playoff loss to the New York Giants on Sunday.
"This is not about Tony. You guys can point the finger at him, you can talk about the vacation, and if you do that, it's really unfair," Owens said, his voice choked with emotion. "It's really unfair. That's my teammate. That's my quarterback. You guys do that, it's not fair. We lost as a team. We lost as a team, man."
Seriously, I don't think Owens ever stood up for McNabb like that or Garcia, I know before the season started he said he wanted to be a role model on the cowboys team but it still kind of suprised me. Though..I know hes gonna get made fun of for getting emotional >_>

I like to see players get emotional. I don't think he will get made fun of, Hines Ward tears up all the time. He prolly just knows now that all the sports media will be talking about romo/simpson/mexico and its not right.

I don't know if he's changed because I never thought he was that bad of a guy to begin with.People tried to paint him in the same light as a Pacman Jones and that's just fucking stupid. Tough to deal with at times I'll be the first to admit, but he was unhappy with his previous coaches and teammates so who knows. He appears to love playing for Dallas and especially with Tony so hey.. I guess the Cowboys' fans can be happy that he's 100% commited to winning for their franchise.
TO rules, and this just shows that every idiot thing he used to do was for the media, and he knew they would come to him and ask about the game/Romo, so he knew he actually had to say exactly how he truly felt for once, so noone did SHIT on R(h)omo for the idiot loss and vaca.
