First of, The most intriguing part is, Anderson or Quinn. You have Derek Anderson whom almost revitalized the Browns and seemingly played well for the most part. But you also have Brady Quinn whom was a first round pick and a lot of people are high on. Whom do you start?
You also traded your first round this year for Quinn, so what do you in the draft? Try to trade into the first round and grab a need position? Or do you sit on your second round pick and use it on a need? What are your needs?

wait are you saying Magic Johnson is black, has AIDS and has it better than ME?
Honestly, I think Anderson just caught lightning in a bottle for a few games, and isn't nearly as good as people think (Evidence to come). In my opinion, his trade value has never been higher, so I would try to move him if I were the Browns. There are a TON of teams that need a QB, so I think you can get at least a second-round pick for him.
Anderson's completion percentage of 56.5% was 28th in the NFL this season. Of all "qualified" players (more than 225 pass attempts), only Trent Edwards, Eli Manning, and Cleo Lemon were worse. He was only one INT behind Eli, Carson Palmer, and Jon Kitna for most in the NFL. He was 12th in yards per game and yards per attempt...that's ok, but not spectacular. He was 17th in QB rating.
He's a good QB...but I think he's definitely a little overvalued right now

I think you have to play Quinn no matter what you do with Anderson, If you keep him he has to be back up or you trade him for a need or a high draft pick. The Browns at somepoint have to justify trading all those draft picks and a first rounder for Brady Quinn by having him be the guy or fans will go nuts. In fact most of them are, if you've ever been to a Cleveland Browns board the only thing Anderson did was "get them the highest possible draft pick without getting in to the playoffs." I guess your always the favorite on the bench in Cleveland lol
Getting a back up is a pretty easy task to, though I wouldn't count on Ken Dorsey to step and be super fantastic I still Sam Keller is a steal in the lower end of the draft. Everybody seems to think he has major attitude issues but everything I read about him is just spun to make him look an ass. I think he could do well in a pro offense for a couple games at a time if Quinn got injured.

You have to play Quinn. He's got much more upside than Anderson. Derek played well, but people always make that mistake in signing a QB. A few games shouldn't break a guy's career, but it also shouldn't make it. Anderson is solid and I think he might be a starter in this league, but you have to go with Quinn here. Chargers were in the same boat with Rivers/Brees, but that was different in that Brees played VERY well.. Like Tom said, Anderson wasn't special.
All the papers here in Cleveland are calling for Phil Savage to sign Anderson to a long term deal; many are also saying to trade away Quinn, because Anderson has proven to be the real deal. Here's the thing though -- THEY'RE IDIOTS!
I am actually all for signing Anderson to a multi-year deal, like 3-5 years. Quinn is still VERY young; Cleveland has a poor track record with their young quarterbacks, like Tim Couch. Lets not rough him up and make him gun shy right away. Let Anderson play in Cleveland for another year or two if necessary, then trade him away. With this plan, you do run the risk of Anderson turning up and being a dud, but I don't think he's truly THAT bad. But I don't think he's Brady Quinn, and that's why Quinn is the guy to lead Cleveland in the future.
