Dorsey is probably the best defensive player coming out in the draft. I'd almost focus on Defense if I were the 'Fins.

Lets not forget the numbers brown was putting up before he got injured. Glen Dorsey is the guy that stands out to me that fits in well with the phins.

Like Tom said, the only way I see them trading it is if a team wants badly enough to make sure that they get McFadden -- but that said, he's not even a lock to go in the top 3 yet. Right now, the pick appears to be Dorsey, but he'll have to check out health-wise first. The guy was pretty beat up by the end of this season, and he appears to have a lot of mileage in him already. I also think DT Sedrick Ellis is going to be rising up the boards, and some teams may already value him over Dorsey. Like I said somewhere in another thread, there's no way they take a quarterback, and their offensive line is actually kind of a strength right now.

Now that sounds enticing, he definitely is a great prospect, but why would a team trade up to #1 to get him when they know the Fins aren't going to take him? There's no way they take a QB here, nobody is worthy of a 1st overall selection, so I agree with them going for defense. I love Dorsey, but what about Chris Long? Kid looks like a stud as well.

I know it's something you hear every year about big running back prospects (including AD last year), but McFadden's "upright" running style scares me quite a bit, as does the shape of his body. I don't think I've ever seen a running back with legs as long as McFadden, and his are pretty skinny. He reminds me a lot of Terrell Owens, the way he runs and moves on the field, which is definitely a testament to his playmaking ability, but it makes me (and other, real scouts for the matter) worry about how well he'll take hits in the trenches in the NFL.

I like Peterson alot but the way he runs scares me because hes so prone to injury (something I didn't believe Mike about when he first told me). Even though Petersons racked up tons of yards hes also been shot to the fore front of RB because where have the other NFC RBs been all season? Stephan Jackson? Frank Gore? Reggie/McAlisster? Even Westbrook probably the best NFC runningback right now has been injured at some point in the season. Just my thought, McFaddens over hyped anyways hes going to be a great talent but hes going to need atleast a season under his belt to be a effective runner in the NFL. Hes not going to have all that Wildhog Formation junk to help him out half the game.

I think McFadden is worth the risk if you're a team in desperate need of a RB such as Oakland, Jets, and Atlanta.
