Vince Carter Carter An MRI on Monday revealed Carter sustained a Grade 1 sprain on Saturday night against the Boston Celtics, Nets president Rod Thorn said Monday. There is no timetable for Carter's return. The Nets fell to the New Orleans Hornets 84-82 on Monday night. The eight-time All-Star was hurt in the third quarter of a 112-101 loss to Boston. He landed on the foot of Celtics forward Paul Pierce after a dunk. Carter averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists through the first six games.
