Since when has this become a grammar/usage driven forum? And Schilling was a free agent, so what would he resign from? I didn't think it was that hard to use logic. Excuse me while I go run grammar check on the entire form. lol.

I'll give you 8 MILLION reasons why he did not RESIGN, or RETIRE, or REMOVE himself from Major league baseball. Check his banking account for verification, but I think I would stay around also if I could still throw the ball straight and in the mid 90's!
