The NFL is looking into allegations that the Indianapolis Colts piped in noise during the game Sunday between the Colts and the Patriots. The charge comes after Patriots President Jonathan Kraft became the latest NFL team executive to accuse the Colts of the distracting tactic that is against the rules. "We're aware of it and we're looking into it," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Monday. "It may just be the TV feed from CBS, but we're checking it out."
Observers at the game said there seemed to be a "skip" in the sound during the game Sunday, which the Patriots won 24-20. That might confirm the long-held suspicion among many people in the NFL that the Colts play loud crowd noise to help distract opponents when the other team is on offense.
"We're aware of the accusations, but there has never been anything to substantiate it," Aiello said.
Kraft approached NFL Vice President of Security Milt Ahlerich after Kraft and his parents, Patriots owners Bob and Myra Kraft, left the Patriots locker room after the game. Kraft was angry as he told Ahlerich the league needed to look into the allegation. Ahlerich is the same person who confiscated a videotape made by the Patriots during a game against the New York Jets in Week 2 that led to the Spygate controversy. In addition, New England quarterback Tom Brady also commented on how loud it was in the RCA Dome.
"I don't know how you measure levels of being deaf, but we couldn't hear anything out there," Brady said.
This is the latest in a string of incidents between the teams that have fueled the growing Colts-Pats rivalry. In the past, Colts General Manager Bill Polian has vehemently argued that the Patriots have bent the rules in terms of use of replay challenges and the pass interference rule.
I thought it was the feed, but if Tom Brady is saying he couldn't hear anything out there there might be a case.
Although it's in a dome,a nd they seemed like awesome fans. So it might have just been the fans. They had a lot of colts jerseys on, they were into their team...

I doubt this will have any ramifications. It's Pats/Colts, everything said needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
Yeah right. I bet if Tony Dungy said he saw a camera in the Colts locker room bathrooms you'd be all about it.
Anyways, Indy isnt the only team rumored to do this, and probably happens reguarly. But I sure the fuck know this wont get anywhere near as much coverage as the whole camera thing, when its on the same level. And you know Indy wont losae any $$$ or draft picks.

Yes, but if you found a guy who was blatantly, funneling the noise in, yeah it's an issue. The difference is visual evidence lol. There is no evidence other than hearsay right now. You can tell me all you want what it "sounded like" but everyones ears are different.

Does that mean Tom Brady has super human hearing, or something? Im not sure what the ears comments mean.
But....theres no evidence of the Patriots taping coordinators every game, just the one against the Jets. Yet you make no qualms about throwing THAT out there. Just sayin.
Like I said, Funneling in crowd noise is not a Colts only thing, or a football only thing for that fact. Some arenas do it.

What I'm saying is. You saw the guy with the camera on the Pats sideline, you didn't see anyone funneling noise into the RCA Dome. I can go into any stadium as a QB and say it was extremely loud. And I never said strip them of their rings, never said anything other than what should happen with that game.e

At least Lemonz is a straight forward Patriot hater. You talk trash about everything the Patriots do, and make plenty of "karma" and "cheating" comments, than backpedal like your not at all biased.

Because I don't hate the Patriots, go anywhere. I'm straightforward. Again, I could goto the HHH Metrodome, and just say, oh it was really loud, they must be funneling noise. If the Colts are caught, fine them, take away draft picks. I won't ever trust Tony Dungy the same way if he condoned it. Seriously, until there is hard physical, undeniable proof, such as what the Pats had, it's all hearsay. I won't persecute a team on hearsay.
Besides, someone has to keep the Homers here at bay.
Look back at my posts, I never wavered, I never questioned any other game other than the Jets game. My personal belief is that they should've been forced to forfeit the game(Which due to Vegas, is impossible). I'm not a straight up Patriots hater, because I don't hate the Patriots, I hate blind homerism.

Hey, im a homer, and my opinon is def biased. Ive never said it wasnt. Just like my hatred for the Yankees. You halfway admitted it on the Brady thread, just let it out SS. Stand up and shout "Goddammit I hate the Patriots" it will set you free.
