So, who do you guys think is the 3rd best team in the NFL? Obviously, NE and Indy are 1 and 2.
Here are the candidates:
1. Dallas (7-1)
2. Green Bay (7-1)
3. Pittsburgh (5-2)
4. Detroit (6-2)
5. New York Giants (6-2)
6. Tennessee (6-2)
Or, anybody else, like the Chargers and Saints, who are starting to get their acts together

Id say its a tough call between Dallas and Pittsburgh. Im leaning more towards the Steelers, as the AFC is obviously alot tougher of a conference, but Dallas has tons of offensive weapons.
Meh, im going with Pitt, and thats saying alot conisdering I hate the Steelers and Big Ben.

Gotta' go with Chargers, they'll be near the top in a few weeks.
they just lost against the vikings...... lol..
Denver beat pitt, and the lions blew them out. Im not sold on pitt, but i do think they are a good team, just not third best in the nfl.
My money is on the cowboys. The packers are good, but they seem to always squeeze out a win, while the cowboys seem to win by a few touchdowns. They are good all around, and seem to be getting even better.
They have a true test though sunday at ny against a good ny team.

I would also say the Chargers. I gotta think that they would lay a whoopin on Dallas or the Giants.
The NFC is a joke.

Ive said this before, the nfc is not a joke. The AFC right now have two of the best teams in the NFL. Other then that I think nfc has some good teams that can compete with the afc.
The chargers would beat the cowboys? The cowboys beat the vikings and the chargers looked very bad against the vikings.

im not trying to say te nfc is better then the afc. Im trying to say of the cowboys were in teh afc, people wouldnt say well ill say pitt because they are in the afc.
Good teams in AFC
Pats
Colts
Pitt
Titans
Maybe the chargers?
Maybe the ravens?
Good teams in NFC
Cowboys
Packers
Giants
Lions
Bucs?
Saints?

I think Dallas is a legitimately good team, and probably the Packers too, but I'm not sold on the Giants or the Lions yet. The Packers have a great defense and a good passing game. The lack of a good running game is what puts them behind Dallas in my eyes. Dallas has a strong D, and can both run and throw. I think Dallas is the most complete team in the NFC.
I think either them or Pittsburgh is #3 in the NFL. I really like Pittsburgh, but their two losses have been pretty bad. Also, Dallas kinda sorta hung in there a little bit with the Patriots. I know the margin of victory was large, but the Cowboys werent absolutely blown out of the water
