Haha, and you've been a big Ricciardi supporter the past few years if I remember correctly.

Strange but true fact of the day:

The Red Sox have lost on Ben Affleck's birthday (Aug. 15) for 10 straight years

I agree, I've been trying to follow Blue Jays baseball on and off for awhile now Richarddi has been being trashed by local media and most fans I know for ages, sspecialy this past year when he brought in Ohka who played pretty poorly.

but For the most part Id like Rois to stay in Toronto to I've always been impressed with him when I do watch the odd game at a friends house.

Re: MLB Off-Season moves and discussion

Santana is apparently going to the Mets now as the Yankees and Red Sox have been said to have drastically reduced their offers after not liking the way the Twins are playing the two teams off each other as leverage.

Bedard is looking like he is heading to Seattle for Adam Jones and 'a slew of prospects' but Angelos is said to not be signing off on the deal

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Re: MLB Off-Season moves and discussion

I've heard Santana to the Mets is official now. Sorry SS... I am thrilled. The Yankees didnt have to mortgage their future, and the best pitcher in baseball gets out of the AL. Note to everyone: Take Santana in the top 3 of all your fantasy baseball drafts next year. An AL-to-NL move generally helps a pitcher's ERA by half a run to 3/4 of a run, and Santana is also going to one of the best pitcher's parks. The only people you should consider taking before him are A-Rod and Pujols

Re: MLB Off-Season moves and discussion

What about Matt Holiday?

Shit. Well, I don't like the trade at all because of how he'll dominate the Braves for the next decade, but ah well. At least he didn't go to the Yankees or Red Sox. It's not like the rich got richer. Oh wait, it is. I meant it's not like the Super Rich got insanely richer..Bill Gates-ish
