With the Pats running up the score the way they are and Tom Brady still throwing completions in the 4th quarter of games they are winning by 40, I can see it right now.. Some fed up lineman is going to take a cheap shot at Brady and goodbye season.

I'm not condoning it, I just can see it happening.

I've considered it as well, and wouldn't put it past all teams.

And even if the hit is legal/accidental (see: Ed Johnson on David Garrard last week, Kimo vanOelhoffen on Carson Palmer two years ago), it's gonna be labeled intentional.

I'm generally of the belief that if you disrespect somebody you should have to pay consequences for it.

I'm not sure how far I would take it (i.e. intentionally injuring Brady), but it's a pretty sad state of society in general that people can go around disrespecting other people all they want and if anybody retaliates, they are the bad guy

Perhaps if people were forced to pay consequences for their actions, they would act with a little more class and respect.

This obviously goes beyond the football field...but it also applies to on-field stuff as well
