Icing the Kicker...
Apparently I just heard that Cowboys Head Coach Wade Phillips complained to NFL offices about this "icing the kicker." He said he worries about the kicker hurting himself on the first attempt, then what? Apparently the competition committee is going to look into it....

I think icing the kicker is fine, but i say leave the timeouts to the players.

This whole issue has been getting a lot of airplay lately.

In my view, it's just a matter of time before a coach calls a timeout to ice the kicker, who then misses as the whistle is being blown, and then nails it on the re-try. That's all that needs to happen.
