I know it's week 2

However some of mine, and others fantasy comments have almost already been completely discredited. For Instance

Brandon Jackson along with DeShawn Wynn will probably sit on the sideline this year and learn from the veteran Morency i wouldn't invest a draft choice in either of the two
Ok first, he lost cred when he said "They'll learn from the veteran Morency" but still, pretty bold for a beat writer. moving on

It usually takes recievers a year or two to gain Brady's trust. WR Deion Branch, often named Brady's favorite target of all time, never had a 1,000 yard season. Also Brady loves to spread the ball around, don't look for Moss to have many 100-yard games
Even this was laughable at press time, because Moss is a home-run threat You know even the most disciplined QB would love to just throw a ball up and watch Moss come down with it.

This one is up there, I didn't think Brees would struggle so much out of the gate, but Meachem making them forget about possibly one of the Saints best receivers? I don't think so. Ok on to my so far plunders

Ok, so I'm not an expert, but hey, if you don't make bold predictions, you can't boast the ones that are right. As I told my dad

3. Petrino had this planned, he told Brohm to stay, and the Falcons would get the first pick, so they'd be re-united. Brohm gets a big pay-day, Petrino gets a pay-day, voila, two people are happy(ok so maybe this is far-fetched but look at it!)
Thoughts on these? Perhaps share some of your own?

Re: I know it's week 2

I dont mind out-on-a-limb statements if there is some sort of a logic or reason behind them. The statements that bother me are the ones like "Peyton Manning will suck this year because they don't have Dominic Rhodes any more" and stuff like that. The Randy Moss quote is an example of that. You know why no other receiver gained Brady's "trust" before? Because none of them were as good as Moss!!!

As for the "system isnt built for a guy like Moss" argument...that's total horseshit. There are certain guys that have to have the offense catered to them to succeed (Jamal Lewis, Michael Vick, etc) but most NFL offenses arent THAT different strategically. Every offense can use a tall, fast receiver with excellent hands who can elude receivers, catch jumpballs, and break tackles in the open field.

That's like saying Peyton Manning is a bad fit for an offense, because the team isnt built to have a strong-armed, accurate QB who reads defenses well and inspires confidence in his teammates.

Also let the record show, the prediction of Cleveland over Cincy was for the line. Not the game. That's actually why I didn't do the predictions spread because my mind messes with me if I do one with spreads and one without
