Most 0-1 Losses all-time, You can't fault a pitcher for that.

I think in general, the guys that deserve to be there are in there. There a few notable exceptions, like Blyleven, but for the most part I think they do a good job

Also, just play Devils advocate a little bit...there's a stat called ERA+, which they use to measure a player's ERA performance relative to his peers, taking ballpark into account. It's supposed to be a quick and dirty way to compare pitchers. Blyleven is only 136th all-time in that stat...however, he has the same ERA+ as Warren Spahn, so take from that what you will...

Just a side note, the all-time ERA+ leader is Pedro Martinez, which makes sense because he put up ridiculous pitching stats during a high-offense era, and he did it in a ballpark that strongly favors hitters.

Oh, one more thing...the MLB HOF has inducted 227 players...the NFL has inducted only 207, despite the fact that the roster size in football is more than twice that of baseball. So, the NFL HOF is MUCH pickier about who they let in...I remember you making a comment in the NFL HOF thread about the MLB HOF committee being tough on people...
