Two years later, still with the Braves, his ERA ballooned to 6.00-plus. Neagle was terrific that one year for sure. I guess I just find it weird to credit Bobby Cox for having three obvious HOF pitchers endowed on him... I've given partial credit to Mazzone in the past though, I guess. | |

The manager has to get at least some credit for having the team so focused for so long. Yeah, he only won one world series but he also ran into some of the best single year teams of all-time in that stretch. At least he has the one. | |
