Re: MLB - HOF if they retired today

I will use Tom Dogg's list to say whether or not they'll get in if they retired today.

Barry Bonds - Obviously. The voters would have to be the biggest dickhead writers ever to not let the best player of this generation in just because of some speculation. He was a 3-time MVP at 190lbs. Fuck writers.

Ken Griffey Jr. - Yeah, he's done more then enough. Would have been the best if not for all the injuries.

Alex Rodriguez - Yes, he's a 2-time MVP and 500 homer club member.

Roger Clemens - No shit.

Pedro Martinez - see Clemens.

Manny Ramirez - I think he will. He's been more productive then almost anyone for a decade now. batting average is over .300 for career.

Tom Glavine - Yup, 300 wins.

Jason Giambi - No. He admitted to using steroids and we've never seen how good he could be without them.

Craig Biggio - He might get in because he's not a steroid guy, but he's a compiler in my book.

Frank Thomas - Definitely in. He is a 2-time MVP, career avg over .300 and was dominate before the steroid era.

Sammy Sosa - Yeah, but he's a luck son of a bitch. I never thought he was great without 'roids.

Jorge Posada - No. Few more years.

Mike Piazza - Yeah, greatest hitting catcher maybe ever..

Ivan Rodriguez - Yeah, awesome defensively has a ton of GG's and was a solid hitter.

Miguel Tejada - No. Way too early for him.

Gary Sheffield - Few more productive years.

Chipper Jones - See Sheffield, but he does have an MVP.

Vladdy Guerrero - Possibly, his career avg is like .325 and he has an MVP already.

Albert Pujols - If he keeps up this pace, no doubt about it

Mariano Rivera - Obvious

Trevor Hoffman - Yeah, 500 saves

Billy Wagner - No.

Randy Johnson - Yes

Greg Maddux - Obvious

David Ortiz - Few more years.

Johan Santana - See Pujols

John Smoltz - Yes, dominate at closer and starter

Andruw Jones - Not yet. He needs those 500 homers to add to his awesome defense.

Ichiro - Yeah, career .330 since he came over, GG's, MVP, he's been incredible.

Jeff Kent - No

Mike Mussina - No

Jim Thome - Not yet.. needs more homers. He's a potential steroid guy.

Omar Vizquel - Maybe, but not a 1st ballot. It might take a while.

Kenny Rogers - No

Jason Varitek - No

Kenny Lofton - No, good but not great. See Biggio.

Derek Jeter - A lock. Too many postseason heroics to not get in.
