The Timberwolves trade F Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics for G Sebastian Telfair, F Gerald Green, F Ryan Gomes, F Al Jefferson, C Theo Ratliff and Two Future First round picks.

Wow. that means the Timberwolves get a whole bunch of rental players... Al Jefferson won't stay, neither will Gerald Green or Ryan Gomes, Theo Ratliff is just the big cap reducer. Luckily they get the two picks or this trade might be horrible. But the Celtics Starting Five? Scary...

C Kendrick Perkins
PF Kevin Garnett
SF Paul Pierce
SG Ray Allen
PG Rajon Rondo

Obviously Danny Ainge wants a championship this year or next, Pierce is 30, KG is 31 Ray allen is 32. They don't all have much left... But in the East? The Celts are the team to beat if they mesh quickly

They don't have much left? Allen is the oldest at 32 and he's a shooter! I say they all have a good 4 or 5 years at least.. love the trade!
