Chargers just rock, I'm not really holding them to that high of a standard this year (I have them at 10-6 to by the way, Griff has them at 14-2). If they didn't have a new coach I'd honestly be making a case for a repeat season with a Ring but meh.

Romo without Parcells scares me. Parcells groomed the kid, seriously. I don't know how well they'll be off without Parcells. And really, is it Julius Jones or is it Marion Barber III?

Sean Payton groomed Romo. Not Parcells. And it is Julius and Barber. I don't see anything wrong with two running backs. They get beat up enough as it is. Its a good change of pace. They usually use Barber on a 3rd down, or in goal.

Still I'm not a huge believer in Romo. Nothing against Tony Romo, I just normally require more than a good half of a year before I deem him a good enough quarterback to lead a team to a Super Bowl. Granted Ben Roethlisberger did it. But rare cases happen all the time.

yeah no doubt. I have small doubts about Romo. If it wasnt for him Dallas would of never made it to the playoffs last year, but he had a horrible December that still makes me a little apprehensive.

I do however think he will be just fine. At the end of the season you will be hearing a lot of ''HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!''.

If Phillips doesn't lose the team. That's my fear. That's what happened in Buffalo. He almost lost the team from Day 1. And as I said, everyone and their mother knows that he's a lame-duck coach. Jason Garrett is the future Head Coach there.

When I look at the Cowboys, I always see them getting burned in the passing game. Their safeties and corners are nasty in coverage. Romo got worse as teams saw film on the guy. In all fairness when he arrived no one knew that much about him but I think the D's near the end had a handle on Romo and shut him down. Cowboys will choke in the playoffs again IMO.

I agree with DD on San Diego, if LT goes down I don't think they'll do anything and there will be a lot of people trying to break him in half.

I also think the Jets need to mention this year. Improved running game with Thomas Jones, Pennington can't throw long but can kill you with short and medium passes, their O and D lines are solid too. I can see them getting in on the wildcard and causing damage in January.

The Steelers I think will be back with a bang in Big Ben is 100%. They finished last season like a team possessed, if the season had begun after game 7 the Steelers would have gone all the way IMO and I hate the Steelers.

Good point. 'Mangenius' is a good coach indeed. They ALWAYS give the Pats a hard time I know that. Look for them to make the playoffs for sure this year.

P.S. The Dolphins still suck my nuts..

Very good points... I don't think SD will be that much worse not having LTD. they do have a pretty good back-up in Michael Turner. Granted he's no LTD but you still have to take him seriously or he'll burn you. The Jets are back from obscurity no doubt. As long as Pennington stays healthy and Jones stays healthy they'll be fine. I'm still not sold on Big Ben as an elite QB who can lead the team the way he's going to have to with Mike Tomlin at the helm. I mean before it Cowher's team, no one questioned that. Now, someone either Coach/Player is going to have to claim the leadership role.
