Tom, you accepted my trade offer! I hope that one doesn't turn out to haunt me. For those interested, the trade is:
I give up:
RB Ronnie Brown
RB Brandon Jacobs
WR Lee Evans
Tom Dogg gives up:
RB Laurence Maroney
WR Reggie Wayne
In normal circumstances, I don't think I would have offered that trade. But with Jacobs, Thomas Jones and Marshawn Lynch all withering away on my bench, as well as Lee Evans, I figured I might as well use that depth to upgrade at a position or two.
Of course, I now have the quandary of which two to start out of Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Wayne and Roy Williams.
I think as soon as Tom saw that you were offering Brandon Jacobs, he quickly hit the "accept" button To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Kidding of course. Judging by both your current teams, this is a fair trade in my mind. Tom adds some good options for RB behind Parker, while Wayne can be nicely plugged in at WR if one of his starters begin to falter. Maroney can also be plugged in as a starter over Brown in some situations, based on matchups that week.

No man, I got Maroney, he got Brown. I'm pairing Maroney with Rudi Johnson (Thomas Jones/Marshawn Lynch backing up), he's pairing Ronnie Brown/Brandon Jacobs with Willie Parker.
Also, I got Wayne to compete with Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald, he got Lee Evans to pair with Terrell Owens.
I think it was a pretty good trade for both sides. He gets to cheer just that much harder for Jacobs now.
