Easily the best prospect the Sox have is, Jacoby Ellsbury. He's not much of a home run threat, unless it's inside the park. He once scored from second on a wild pitch. Fastest player I've seen, and I've seen Ichiro. Defense needs very little improvement. Makes good cuts to the ball. Positions himself nicely for throw with his Above-Average arm. Scaled 70 on a 10-80 scale. Nice singles/doubles hitter. Career .316/.390/.431 hitter in the Minors. If given a steady green light could steal more bases than Jose Reyes or Hanley Ramirez. If the Sox trade Coco Crisp or Wily Mo Pena look for Ellsbury to come up and play Center Field.

Hopefully the Sox future doesn't hold another 1918 in it.
You do realize this is the Boston Red Sox, not the Chicago White Sox, The Red Sox won the series over the Cubs in 1918, and I believe the incident you are referring to was the Black Sox Scandal of 1919 not 1918. With Shoeless Joe Jackson and the infamous, "Say Ain't so joe, Say it Ain't so."
