In a huge move, the Cubs sent C Rob Bowen and P Jerry Blevins to the Athletics for C Jason Kendall

Uhhhh wait a second.... I thought the goal was to improve the catching situation >.>. The cubs must think a change of scenery will do Kendall good, I dunno, it's up in the air at this point. After trading Michael Barret away they did need a good C though

Hm...I guess they thought Henry Blanco (a.k.a. Hank White) wasn;t going to get the job done.

Kendall's best days are behind him, in my opinion. I don't think this trade will have much an impact...
