An understrength Brazil retained the Copa America, beating favoured Argentina 3-0 in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Clinical Brazil scored through a Julio Baptista screamer, a Roberto Ayala own goal, and Daniel Alves' fine finish.
It was Brazil's eighth Copa America title and denied their arch-rivals a record 15th crown.

Here I think with Argentina it is a classic case of them having a team of stars and not a star team, with a team like that you should rampage through competition but well it just hasn't happened.

CRAP, I forgot this match was even on. I said to Dmac hours ago that I was going to watch it, and I forgot. Damn instead I was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 6, oh well from reading the reports, Brazil won and they deserved it.
Sorry for taking it off topic Mr. Dmac (but pro rules, I can't put it down to words, but it does to me). Well back on Brazil, I just watched a quick recap on Sky Sports News and Argentina never looked in the game, it seemed Brazil were too strong for them.
I was very surprised to see Brazil win the tournament with the amount of legends that were missing, but it seems Dunga is doing a good job, using both experience and youngster to propel Brazil back to the greatness of football.
Brazil left out most of their top stars where as Argentina put out their strongest team possible and Argentina still lost, it just doesn't really add up, the only thing you can say is like Adam said, Dunga must be doing a damn good job.
