I ran out of midfield options since they don't have any decent wide midfielders, that's why I put it down as 4-3-3!!

Stephen Ireland is a quality midfielder(and a cracking player on football manager as Tyler pointed out), as a City fan I think we need a left back, a midfielder, 2 wide men and 1 or 2 strikers(that doesnt include outside the first team), in defence I can see him putting Richards at centre back and put Onouha in as a regular at right back, the good thing is we have some cracking youngsters coming through the ranks (watch out for Daniel Sturridge this year)

Well selling big players that you didn't want to has happen for example SWP and signing a new contract does not guarantee he will stay another example of that would be Fernando Torres who in September signed a new contract with Athletico Madrid.
