Seeing how it's fresh on my mind, in the NBA, the automatic one game suspension for leaving the bench during an altercation is mind boggling. If one of your good friends is in an altercation at a bar, you're at least going to run over there to see what's going on, and you aren't going to have time to think about it.
You should only be suspended if you escalate the situation.

As I thought about that, indeed, i agree with the second part, the other rule, is celebration rule, I mean it's the job of a player to entertain, NFL shouldn't stand for the No Fun League

I think there's times where players take it too far, like Owens on the Dallas star.. but again, you don't know what happend out there. There was probably a lot of trash talking going on from both sides, but of course everyone will put all the blame on Terrell..
