Fantasy Football Live Draft?

It's been brought to my attention that some members of our fantasy football would prefer a live draft. If we are to do this we would have to make a time where everyone could get together on line and sit down for a couple of hours to draft our teams. Most likely this would mean a Fri or Sat night. We would have a min or so time limit per pick so the draft would not take too long. The issue is findind a date and time for everyone to meet. So please bring up a suggestion and hopefully we can all find a time to meet up and do this. If we can't find a time we will try to draft as planned through threads, and if that doesn't work we'll set up an automated draft where you select what round you want a position picked, and rank players in each position.

A suggestion has been brought up for Fri night? If we can roll this Friday ngiht we can get our overseas companion in as well. Anyone for or against?

I should be able to a draft anytimr. My work schedule is usually hectic by I have this week off for the most part and will be working nights after that. Anytime really works for me.

The evening works best for me, but I'm on the West Coast, and that might be too late for the majority of managers.

Going back to the whole live draft debate: by my count there's only one manager overseas (Mikk), where the time zone is only five hours ahead of North American ET (eight ahead of where I am). I have to believe we can find something that works for Mikk, and in the case that he's just not available, he can provide a list of his rankings, preferred players, etc. It's not ideal for him, but I refuse to believe it's ideal for the other 13 managers to slog through a message board draft at all hours of the night, every day for at least a week. (Besides, Mikk named his team the "Clueless Brits" anyway!)

As I said before, I'm three hours behind most of you, which isn't far off from five, and I'm more than willing to be lenient with my preferred draft-time.

It doesn't matter to me either way. I remember when we did this a couple years back though, we posted our picks and it took FOREVER..

The only night I can do is Tuesday or wednesday. every other day im working til at least 10 or so the rest of the summer. i can do mornings.

I should be able to do it anytime. Sometimes I have to work until 8:00 PM and my schedule is not the same from week to week, but I can probably arrange to do it whenever is the best for the majority.

Since Rambo says he can only do it on a Tuesday or Wednesday would anyone be against doing it Tuesday July 24th or Wed July 25th around 7:00 EST / 6:00 CST
