| Bengals Quincy Wilson arrested This comes from wsaz.com Wedding Party Arrested; NFL Player Among Them The arrest over the weekend of a football player for the Cincinnati Bengals is creating big controversy in Huntington. Quincy Wilson was part of a wedding party celebrating at the Envy Nightclub and he was arrested for disorderly conduct after leaving the club. Wilson is friends with the couple that got married on Saturday. Carlos Barron was the groom and Tara Hensley was the bride. They also were arrested along with three other members of the wedding party. Police say they refused to leave the area of the nightclub after officers ordered the crowd to disperse. Family members say those arrested did nothing wrong and that the arrests were racially motivated. All members of the wedding party were black and still in their tuxedos when taken to jail. The bride is white. The police report says it was important to get the crowd to leave that area of 4th Avenue because there was a shots fired report nearby and a stabbing occurred down the street a week earlier. Police say all those arrested refused to leave the scene, but relatives of those charged say police targeted the wedding party because of race. Police would not respond to the race related allegations. Wilson is due in court July 9th. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow, this one happened in West Virginia. Either way, this news is just kind of funny and that's all. The Bengals wouldn't have kept him around anyway (having drafted Kenny Irons, and Chris Perry still backing up Rudi). | |||||||||||||||
