How do you rate the current england core selection? Often touted as favourites but every single time crash and burn. Are they over hyped or as good as the media claim?

I've rated 20 england players that i thought of off the top of my head. I dont think this team is good enough to win anything but yet will still be hyped as favourites.

But it's just like for England it doesn't matter how good the players are, they don't perform well together...

It's only the media that ever think we're going to win tournos. The England fans tend to think we're only going to get to the last eight then crash and burn be it Euros or World Cup. That's probably where we are to be honest, as long as we avoid someone particularly good, we'll make the quarters and then go out to the first really decent team we meet.

It's entrenched in the players psyche at international level as well now, they don't truly believe in themselves enough that they will go on further than that, because to do so you have to mentally tough and hardened.

We can run all day and battle, but we don't have the technique in the hot conditions that tournos inevitably have and we also have too many areas in our squad where, the first choice is a good player, but the cover players are just about Premiership standard.
