Actually, forget everything I said.

It's gotta be Atlanta. Behind Vick, all they have is Harrington, and I can't see how Vick gets off the hook when all the evidence is in.

yeah i thought about that also. But if they pick him up, and vick does not play, who do you start? I for some strange reason have always liked Harrington. But you cant deny he isnt a solid choice. But look at what daunte has to offer is maybe about the same...

Come to Detroit and say that. I'd love to see you get your ass kicked

Harrington did good in college. So what? He hasn't proven himself in the big leagues, and probably never will. Atlanta would be a good spot for Culpepper, assuming he can stay injury free.

The people here in Michigan aren't responding well to possibilities of Culpepper coming to the Lions. I don't think he'd be a great fit here, personally. A lot of us are behind Kitna these days, and thought he (I'm not talking about the Lions here, but Kitna) played very well given the circumstances. Of course, he won't be around for many more years, and while Drew Stanton isn't the answer, I don't think Daunte will be here in the fall.

Re: Where will Daunte Culpepper Play?

Like I already said, Culpepper couldn't be further from the prototypical Mike Martz quarterback. Not a chance it happens.

Re: Where will Daunte Culpepper Play?

I also might look for the Packers to try to pic him up. Brett is on his way out and they may think of bringin him in to compete with Rodgers.

He's not going to be a perfect fit anywhere as there are a lot of good QB's out there right now. But somebody with cap room and somebody wanting insurance at the QB position will be sure to pick him up.

Re: Where will Daunte Culpepper Play?

I agree with Freak. I have been saying Atlanta behind Vick this whole time.

He is a fumbling mess though. He will not solve anyones problems and may end up causing a few new ones.

What is his salary for 07-08? Surely thats gotta be a huge sticking point for most teams.

He would be the best backup QB in the league though I reckon.

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Re: Where will Daunte Culpepper Play?

You don't understand how much it pisses me off that's he's getting traded !!

I JUST got his Miami jersey like 3 months ago, so techniquely I never had his jersey while he was on the team .. that ALWAYS happens, I have 18 NBA jerseys and like 15 of them aren't even on the same team anymore, and it REALLY grinds my gears ..

BUT I wouldn't mind seeing him go to somewhere like Cinci.

Remember the Spyda, dude ..

Dude, what the fuck. Why were you buying a Daunte Culpepper jersey three months ago? That's nobody's fault but your own.

As for Culpepper-to-Packers -- no fucking way.

Living in Wisconsin, I can totally agree here. There is almost no way the Packers would take him, Why not the Raiders, they have basically a younger Daunte Culpepper in JaMarcus Russell

Repots on the net are that the Raiders are really keen on McCown and ready to give up on Walters yet.

Packers - no way, King Brett would not approve.

Couple of rumours have Danute possibly heading to the 49ers, which makes some sense as Alex Smith is pretty good and Dilfer is more a mentor and coach than QB. Also I don't see Brad Johnson as that good a back up at 38 and unable to move, Culpepper would be good competition for Romo and good back up but my new choice is Jacksonville. Leftwich isn't very good IMO and neither is Garrad, Culpepper could go their and instantly compete for the starting position.
